Bring your woods, long irons, especially from the back tees because several holes will have you carrying your ball over wetlands or water features to land on large, sloping greens. This course is postcard pretty and poses a serious but fun challenge to novice players. The 9th hole is said to be one of the roughest par 3's at The Villages with numerous bunkers guarding the green and waiting to swallow errant shots.
